To Bill Brasky, the greatest non-character from SNL's history.

Back during those years there was a series of sketches – played all too infrequently in my opinion – that absolutely cracked me up. They centered around a group of drinking buddies, anchored by Will Ferrell during his prime, that would share tales of their mutual acquaintance Bill Brasky.

Larger than life both in real life (although we only saw him in profile) and in his accomplishments, Brasky’s resume would make Chuck Norris quake in his boots. According to those telling his tales, often referred to as the Brasky Buddies, the “best damn salesman in the office” has apparently been all over the world and enjoyed a history rich in outlandish feats. For example, he did all the makeup on the Planet of the Apes movies; he killed Wolf Man Jack with a trident; he date raped David Bowie; and his poop is considered currency in Argentina. Simply put, Bill Brasky is an amazing man.

I registered BillBrasky.com y-e-a-r-s ago and thought that I’d put it to good use now. I’ve created an homage to the man which showcases all five of his sketches from back in the day in both video and text form.

Brasky is a son of a bitch…and in ‘02 I even went as far as to create a song set to Eminem’s 1999 smash hit “My Name Is” that features some of my favorite Brasky stories.
